New Shift Print Variety Of #1370?

Sorry bad photo, but notice the shifted colour impression on the 71 Canada. It is also evident on the text on the left.

Is this a known variety, something new, or just a freak?

Found this in a box of kiloware, thought it looked fuzzy and caught my attention.

Will need a better picture to comment on this...

I scanned this image, but it's not high enough res. How do you guys get those nice close up scans?

on my scanner do a preview of the scan and adjust the dotted lines tight around the stamp to copy that might work to make the stamp bigger.

Looks like a incorrect registration of one of the colors of the stamp.

Or the ink well went dry and ran a sheet or two back through again..Cant see that much of a colour shift..had to be re run a second time....Look at the square...The
"A" on the left is about the same distance apart as the shifted "A"..While on the right..the top of the "D" is further away from the top of the shifted "D"...That probably means these sheets were run through a second time in my opinion.

So is this something of significance? I am not well versed in EFO's and varieties etc.

Mint always sells for more and generally ranges between $30 and $250 per stamp.

Your's would be valued much lower of course, perhaps as low as $10, but still a great EFO find.
