It is surely very old, but also looks very... faked?

If it is questionable in any way, I can make a high-res scan + scan a back of the pair.

No reason to think it is a fake .It could be a later printing done with a worn plate .

I agree with Floortrader. Even though I don't collect these, they look authentic at a glance. If I see the color correctly, I would call these #10.

So any ideas on this early seated Britannia from Trinidad? 1860 fifth issue? SG20? Notch out of top margin and short split south from that. Ugly little minx but I love her. Might even repair the split irrespective of value.

Stanley has this block of four 1860 unused.

I like mine better, she has been round the block.

Hi Floortrader and Rileysan. Thanks for your opinions. I am not sure for the stamps themselves, but, a cancelation (only on the one stamp??) really looks faked, especially because the postmark (or cancellation) is what makes this issue more scarce in the used than unused condition. However, I am also not familiar with this issues and cancellations, but, I would say 95% that (at least) the cancellation is faked.

Hi Terrence Collins. Nothing of Britannia, but I can see a vision Jesus on your stamp - that is a truly miracle :)

Oh, Britannia is there sure enough. But a mere shadow of her former self. Can't see Jesus, you sure?
