Wert,
look above here at my previous posts. The insert-stiffener-card has advertising on both sides. The picture directly above is only the center of one side, showing the pack for $99.

You can open the sheet enclosure by lifting the 1/2 inch (2cm) plastic flap at the bottom back. Kind of dig your fingernail into the plastic flap, moving downwards, and it comes loose easily. Very hard to see for me with my bad eyes, but the colour of the insert lets it kind of blend in also.

Hi,just received the press sheet the other day.On the upper left side of the sheet there is no corner(point). It is on a slight angle.Someone at the post office told me that is normal on some press sheets. Is it normal? If not I assume it would bring the value down. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Wert - the post card image does not have to be identical to the stamp image.

It looks to me as though the stamps' artist looked at the windows above the railing and left them off his design, but added one below the railing which is not a proper place for a window.

WOW...just got my "Empress of Ireland Uncut Press Sheet"...It is bigger than I thought..Came in a shipping box, and then inside a solid tube..The size of the sheet is impressive..It is 19X25 inches...Only 5000 printed..It is big enough to put in a picture frame..The back of the sheet, the whole sheet has gum on it...Neat.

And all of the stamps on the sheet, or actually souvenir sheets with stamps in the middle, are postally useable.

Any pics or scans or did you leave it intact inside the tube? I think most people leave it indie tube, but if I had one of anything I would take it out to enjoy it.

Rick735: I just rec'd my copy of the uncut press sheet. It, too, has the top left corner missing. I have not noticed this on other sheets before.
