My Vatican 1993 Present

So, we learned last week that they are closing my church. My current priest is in his 70s and being retired. He was ordained in 1993 after his wife passed away.

So, as a retirement present, I bought the 1993 White Ace Vatican City Supplement and a complete set of 1993 Vatican City stamps. I plan to mount the stamps and make a cover page with his name and date of ordination.

I'll scan them in and post pics once the work is done.

that's pretty cool. Even if he doesn't enjoy stamps, I am sure it will be a very nice looking gift and he will be touched by the effort you put into it.
