I find this thread a bit confusing... here was Nells250 original post

I searched and searched, and I didn't see a thread like this (of course, I may be blind), so here I go:

What was in YOUR mailbox today?? Any new stamps for your collection? Any interesting aux. markings? Maybe a Marker Monkey? Maybe you are part of Postcrossing and got a card with cool stamps on it? Packages with high denomination stamps???

Is the intent to be a 'show and tell' thread (where we post anything we received in the mail)?

Or

Is the intent to show covers and postal markings which we receive?

Don

Note: We also have the thread "Let's see your most recently purchased stamps" which is a 'show and tell' thread.

From the quote, I interpret the poster's meaning to be "anything goes", I.e., the good, the bad and the ugly.

Whereas I interpret the "let's see...stamps" as "a show and tell / bring and brag" type of thread.

@Renden

Glad to hear that the package arrived safe and sound. And that you are pleased with the stamp and the cancel. The stamp has been lingering in my postage drawer since the mid-1990s. It is nice for it to finally have a good home.

Thanks dqabq8 for the response - very happy ! Now I am more knowledgeable ! (less stupid) !

Not much of interest today. Got the latest Linns and the usual junk mail with nothing of interest on any of those envelopes. Oh, well...

Its awful. Tracking shows it leaving Boston for Ipswich (30 miles away) on 11/13. It never made it here. Disappeared. I have a case number open and am going to wait until 1/7/18. Then I guess I'll have to ask for a refund. $190-. I really want the stamps as it will finish off the British Occupation Middle East stamps for me. Bummer.
