If you like on-demand pictorial postmarks, etc., contact my good friend Bill Porter to discuss the collectors' needs, and to ascertain lead times or other requirements.

Download the PDF docs to see his available pictorial postmarks.
See also http://www.wcp-nm.com/

If you want a regular MPP canceller, you can still contact Bill Porter or Joe LoPreiato.
Bill Porter has provided all my 4 MPPs, for 4 ZIP codes.

Another maxicard with pictorial MPP from Bill Porter, really circulated through the mail as a "postcard", without cover.

I had Joe do my Cancel, with a date slot. I insert the dates instead of using a date stamper. But I want to get a bit more creative.

Count me in for stylized palm branches as in this real cork cancel from Panama.

smauggie: Might be some kinda Philatelic Rorschach test here, but I see a sloppily applied star burst, rather than a palm tree. I'm glad that religion & politics do not enter into this, so that neither of us feels a moral imperative to kill the other guy.

Yes, folks, the MPP rules restrict the design of the killer.

To be fair to guykickinit, however, we should re-read:

... to apply a killer to stamps that reach beyond the killer bars on my postmark.

I understood from this that he is one of those why-use-one-stamp-when-three-to-eight-lower-denominations-will-work-just-as-well nutcases ... before anyone gets offended, let me say that you should see the covers on the stuff I send my grandchildren ;)

Cheers,

Yeah! It takes a lot of 3c stamps to send stuff anywhere these days. I try to use a couple 5c stamps to free up a bit of space.

As I'm reading another use of the cancels - all the mail I receive that is not postmarked. Lately a larger portion of the mail simply contains no postmarks. Although I'm not keeping up with current issues, I always prefer to collect used stamps. Its frustrating to get mail from a fellow collector that put some thought into the stamps, only to find it was never canceled.
