I purchased blank pages from Mystic. As I was printing out pages, I noticed a copyright notice on every page. Is is even possible to copyright a blank page? The only printing on the page is the border, the copyright at the bottom, and the item number along the hole-punched edge.
If the page has their border design and identifying information printed on it then it isn't blank. The border would add a design element to the page and would no doubt match with the design of the pre-printed pages, the whole making up a unified design. So I imagine the copyright would be on the design of their whole album system and the designed elements making up that system.
Not to mention that it is easier to print all pages the same. They are most likely printed with border and copyright before any other page information is printed. much like stationary stock.
