It's Friday the 20th of June and I just received my copies of the magazine for June/Jully. What is happening with Canada Post. They want to sell stamps but we received the Detail Magazine 3 week after the beginning of the month. Since the last one, there been 2 new issue.

That's been happening for at least a couple of years here in the US. US Philatelic comes out quarterly. Recently, it hasn't been unusual to receive the catalog 2 months, late, giving me less than one month if I want to order anything going off sale. Of course, I haven't purchased anything through US Philatelic in years as I no longer actively collect most US new issues.

Are they are counting on (encouraging/pushing) people to download/view the magazines/catalogs online, and mailing them out upon request, and then mailing out what's left over as the final month approaches? Don't know.

My biggest problem is that I have repeatedly asked them to send me the English and French versions and they refuse! They said I have to choose one language! or I have to go to the post office to pick up the bilingual version there.

Don't know if this will help you canadianphilatelist, but CP posts Details on their website in English and French from 2008 Vol 2 and Collections from Summer 2008. Both are in pdf format.
