Pencil notations on the back was a common practice,it does not bother me one bit. I would rather have notations on the back of the stamp than having catalog numbers written in the margins or under the spaces of an otherwise nice album.

I don't always look at my stamps, but when I do, I look at the front of them.

So if a stamp has an expertizer mark on the back, would it have to sent in to an expert to expertize the expertizer mark ?

Sorry revenuecollector, I should of thought before I started this thread, but don't we as human need to rant once in awhile? And how do you all get those smiley faces on your post. I like smiley faces. )

When you reply to topics, please use the Reply To Topic link at the top or the bottom of the page. Then you will have access to the smiley faces here, plus other editing commands like bold and colour.
