Hello, That solves the mystery, Tim and Primoz! So the pinkish underside of the cloud is indeed an offest in printing and not anything else. I'll have to see if I can get both varieties next to each other. Greetings, Kris |

German stamp SC 1335 honors Dr. Friedrich Joseph Haass (1780-1853),physician and philanthropist. The stamp shows his helping hand. Dr Friedrich Joseph Haass was the "holy doctor of Moscow." As a member of Moscow's governmental prison committee, he spent 25 years until the end of his life to humanize the penal system.

The 68th UN General Assembly declared 2015 the International Year of Soils (IYS) (A/RES/68/232). The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations has been nominated to implement the IYS 2015, within the framework of the Global Soil Partnership and in collaboration with Governments and the secretariat of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.
