In February of 2007, Spain issued 2 stamps for "2006 Year of Historical Memory". These stamps were produced in anticipation of what is commonly known as the Historical Memory Law. One of stamps, Michel #171, pictures a red/bloody fingerprint. I believe this is the 15th fingerprint stamp of this thread.

There are 9 important provisions of the Historical Memory Law including "Recognition of the victims of political, religious, and ideological violence on both sides of the Spanish Civil War and of Franco's state" and "Provision of aid to the victims and descendants of the Civil War and Francoist state" (Wikipedia).

The set of stamps issued by the Royal Mail this year honoring Leonardo is quite amazing. This stamp shows his sketches of the hand and most of the muscles responsible for hand movement.
