Canada 1997 Confederation Bridge issue of a stamp-label-stamp triptych combination.

On the left most stamp is a lighthouse, the right a seagull bird, but on the center stamp label, what is that thing? I am not sure what it is myself?

Does anyone recognize it and / or can identify it?

Just a stupid question here! The stamp in the middle does not look like a stamp to me. Looks like a label?

You are correct, and I did make a change to the above question.

A triptych is indeed a stamp-label-stamp combination.

Looking around myself a bit on the web, I noticed that the bird on the right is actually a Great Blue Heron rather than a seagull. A seagull is shown on the sheet selvedge at upper left though. I started assuming rather than researching.

Another thing, the so called lighthouse (it does indeed looks like a very small lighthouse) is of the scale of being a light warning device rather than a lighthouse. Picky, picky.

Hmmm, I have just considered that it may be a scratch or two or three on the label, rather than a design or thing unidentified. I am still bidding o it and will check when I get it. I like this emission anyway.
