I purchased an expensive item on ebay. It's location was Sydney Australia but the seller was based in China.

I ended up with paypal with an item not as described case going my way but the 6kg item needed to be sent to China even though it was purchased from Sydney.

I tried to get paypal to change the address for mailing as it is about $180 different to sent 6kgs to China than Sydney. The only reply from paypal was a copy of the original decision to my corraspondance. And finally they locked me out of everything. So I started to work with the seller again and he gave me a Sydney address and I with a Justice of The Peace's stat Dec claiming that he had inspected the item and watched the item being packed and handed it to the PO worker for mailing. The item was sent.

When I went back to the seller and mentioned I was thinking about feedback and paypal was upsetting me. His bad attitude that he had was gone and was asking me to be apart of a terminate the transaction so, the use of a Justice of the Peace through the mailing process for proof to ebay + the all important track & sign. What else could I do?

So an ebay cancel the transaction case was to the point where I got my cash back and then paypal decided to get interested so now this guy from China had been sent two different demands for refunds for the same item....

By now I can not access any case information and explained this to the seller. Contacted ebay and they could see what had been done to me by paypal. So the ebay guy got me to change browser and I could then end the transaction. ebay was already holding onto my funds and two days later the cash was back into my account.

Case closed totally by ebay! So the transaction is gone. Paypal sent me 7 emails over 4 days that were very unpleasant and I did not reply as the case did not exist!

Amazing to have all that have to happen but I suppose it's like buying insurance in case your ship sinks between India and England or something from old times.

Loose your ship and loose your investment. Hire a good Captain and crew best choice.

Hi jogil.

Not kiloware but a projector.

We have multi needs for a projector being putting up YouTube on a screen and movies and training stuff.

But it would be nice to fly speck Australia KGV's with! The quality of images when you add a computor, digital microscope, scanner image files and a projector together is amazing.

It is like strapping a V8 motor to a push bike!lol

I got attention from people an not the computer when I mentioned Stat Decs and Solicitors.

I think if I had stayed with paypal the address to send the item to would of been changed to Sydney.

Hope it helps someone!

It would of been cheaper to fix it in Australia than mail it to China.

Sounds like eBay/PayPal Australia is a lot more difficult than the entities here in the U.S.

ebay to me is bias way over into only a seller area!

Boy did I get a taste of being a buyer!

I did detect an issue because of my cultural position which surprised me!

Now I have a bidder who bids from the US which I have not block but is based in a country I have blocked.

There wanting the items to be posted to the block country where the bidder is based.

This is the next big issue ebay paypal are going to have to sort out.

So basically I sign up with "unblock us" for $6.50 per month and I in Australia can buy pay TV from the US at a pittance of the price compared to the cost in Australia.
By signing up I get a US address so I can buy US bullion, coins, stamps and at a cost from my US address they are redirected to me in OZ.

Because I have an ebay business and for moral reasons I am not apart of "unblock us". But it appears to be growing!
