I received some snail mail from Canada with a stamp of a dog and referring to the benefits of pet adoption. A Google search showed the stamp is one of five, two dogs, two cats and one parrot, issued in 2013 to celebrate pet adoption.

An ebay search showed several for sale and several of those referred to "Gray" catalog numbers. The numbers given are too low, 98-102, to be a true catalog for Canada stamps. Perhaps they are really the vendor's inventory control numbers.

Has anyone ever heard of a "Gray" catalog?

Can someone familiar with these five issues supply the Scott numbers for me? If not, I will need to make a forty mile ride to the nearest library that has Scott catalogs. My Scott is a 2011 issue.

Thanks in advance,
Donald

Hi Donald. I looked them up on www.stampworld.com and saw that these stamps came out of a souvenir sheet! I do not know what kind of numbers they use, but it could be Scott?

Thank you, Peter. Some of the listings on ebay are for the sheet and some of them are for singles. I will check the StampWorld numbers and see if they are consistent with either a Scott or a Unitrade sequence. Much obliged.
