Linn's covering the recent ebay move scrapping the oversight programs they had. It was nice of them to mention Stamp Smarter.

If JAMA (the Journal of the American Medical Association) (et al) use peer review to separate fact & fiction, why can't ebay?

What can't be seen on the link Don provided (thanks Don!) is the fact that this is the front page story!

My only regret is not having the opportunity to convince the author that the ending of the article is "too upbeat" for the message being delivered in the article. I would have been much happier if he ended it by pointing out that the huge number of stamps offered daily on ebay leaves a lot of potential for deceptive and problematic listings, therefore it is critical that shoppers there be very careful, watchful and use the few resources available to them, such as StampSmarter!
