The whole purpose of the bi-dimensional barcode is to make the stamp unique. The code should be scanned by the letter sorting machine and removed from a list of active stamps. Once struck from the list, it cannot be used again. Add to that the security slits that are added to damage the stamp when removed from paper. Yet, the marker monkey's purpose of being remains defacing stamps. |

Not mine. I saw them on a different site and thought that they belonged here. |

I just received a small shipment from ebay. The dealer always does his best in packaging and stamp selection on the envelope. A bit out of focus, but you can still see the beautiful stamps. Too good to be true? Of course, that's why god created the flees, the ticks, and the USPS marker monkeys. |

I purchased an SG Ireland catalogue from ebay, came very promptly, perfectly packaged, with three recent-ish GB commemoratives. Not surprisingly, all three totally defaced. Seems you don't get the correct service from anyone these days! Regards DavidR |

I recently sent this letter to a friend in Luxembourg (a topical collector, among other themes, QEII and insects). She received the envelope like this. If needed to be, too bad it wasn't cut on the opposite side where there are no stamps. Another perplexing stamp crime… |
