Wert, to the best of my knowledge, these 'cross' perfins of Switzerland were 'officials' used from that country. These were similar to the Canadian OHMS perfins.

Hope this helps?

Wert, Bujutsu, I do not believe this is an official perforation. Between 1935 and 1937 the Swiss post office issued stamps "Fur die Bundesverwaltung" ( for the government administration ) that were perforated with a cross, but they were different. The cross was a horizontal line of five perforations and a vertical line of five perforations with the center perf of each line being the middle of the cross.
I think I have seen Wert's cross before, but do not remember what it was.
Wert, if you edit the post and indicate that it is a Swiss perfin we might get to the bottom of this!

Thanks for your input Petert4522

I was checking through my perfins files and found the following information:

(There were three possibilities) - Jacky Summerer & Company (later?) Jacky, Maeder & Co

- Lengenthal Bank in Switzerland

- General-Arfenturen des Basler Feuer - Transport (Versicherrungs-Gesellschaften, A. Reuss (later?) Schwiez (Swiss) Tepichfabrik

Their locations and duration of use is not in any of my information.

Hope this helps a little?
