I'm always looking for unusual collecting areas and I think I have found a modern one: US FDCs with imperf (no die cut) stamps from press sheets canceled with the color digital postmarks.

Any one else collecting these? Here's an example from a recent US stamp issue.

Hello Glenn and welcome to SCF! I met you once at the Bennington, Vermont stamp club where you gave a talk about British Olympic stamps.

This is the first modern U.S. imperf FDC I've seen.

That's a very attractive FDC! I would love to see other examples if you have any.

Wow! I spoke at the Green Mountain Stamp Society in Bennington about 2 years ago on that topic. I spoke to them this past May on the Icons of the Famous Americans Series of 1940.

On a sidenote: since the Adirondack Stamp Club in Glens Falls, NY meets on the same day, but at a different time, I left the meeting in Bennington and drove the 55 miles to Glens Falls and spoke about the 1932 Lake Placid Olympic Winter Games, which is my main interest and on which I have an exhibit of 8 frames.

I guess I should create some webpages showing this type of modern FDCs.

Here are a few more digital cancels with imperf (no die cut) commemoratives.
