Hi guys...about 3 weeks ago I went on ebay to buy 3 jewellers loupes at a price of $12.16...Have not received the package yet...BUT SURPRISE, I went back to the seller's item and look at the price difference...What should I do...?

The 789.jpg is my copy of the transaction

It appears to me you bought the last one and he re-listed, but accidentally put the decimal in the wrong place!

I assume the C is Canadian dollars.....?
The new listing is a typo...probably. Becasue the loupes
should not be that high....The #s are similiar...more reason to believe.
Plus...if they sold 29 at over $112C...i need to be in that business.

According to in insert picture....it says assume delivery from
July 10 -23....
I would send the seller a email first....give them a chance to reply.
No reply after 2 days, I will open a case with eBay/PayPal.
No matter how big a seller is....2 days is enough time (minus weekends)
to reply to all questions.
Good luck.

Hi Wert. Hope you are well? It is very easy to make a mistake. Look at your post. It is a 3-piece jewelers set that you bought, not 3 jewelers loupes for C$12.16! Everybody has a senior moment now and then, I have them all the time!

petert. You are quite wrong. It was not "3 piece" it was "3 pieces." Three loupes were for sale.

I would also assume it was a typo on the seller's "relisting" -- but as long as you get your 3 for the $12 price you expect, the seller is free to price the next three at $12,000 if he wants to.

So, I would say there is nothing to do, unless you wanted to send him a friendly note that it's probably a typo.

Now to the bigger issue, after you get them, post a review on SCF, please. Looks like a good deal -- if you're happy, I'll order 3.

Kirk

Pretty stupid to raise the price when you're out of something, just remove the listing and refund any buyer that bought after they ran out LOL. It's not rocket surgery

A month ago? Why should ANY buyer put up with that? Assuming you got a refund, there is nothing you can do other than leave less than stellar feedback... John

Okay - you should put in an item not received claim as soon as possible. I think it is quite rare to see such shabby treatment of a buyer. The fact that the seller knows that the item is out of stock and STILL does not immediately refund the money makes it that much worse. A textbook example of why the seller deserves negative feedback, IMHO. John
