Ok, I've bought two different sets of stamps from Europe and they in a glassine envelope that I have never seen for sale in the US. It's open on the side, and it seems to have some kind of recloseable adhesive on the flap.

Looks like this:

Anyone know where I can buy these?

Andy

Prinz do something like that, I believe. I prefer the traditional 'envelope' type.

I've gotten the envelopes pictured from the Ukrposhta (Ukraine), An Post (Ireland), and from an ebay seller.

The stuff feelsl more like paper than glassine and tears and cuts like regular paper. I like the stuff.

Lindner also makes this type of glassine, which you can buy on ebay. I've purchased glassines from this seller and was very pleased with their service. Just carefully check the measurements of what you are buying since measurements are given in mm.

They're quite common in Europe. Very much used by bussiness and P.O.
