This isn't mine, but was posted on USPS Twitter today from a person thanking the USPS for the prompt delivery of this piece from Las Vegas, NV to Germany -- in just four (4) days time.
What intrigued me more than the efficient delivery was the fact that the "old fashioned" machine cancel was used on a Global Forever Stamp from Las Vegas, NV on July 21, 2014. You don't see those machine cancels very often anymore, and rarely from a city such as Las Vegas, so I thought I'd post it:

I wonder how many other machine cancels like this are still in use nationwide?
