Your GB 2.5d stamp can be one of two possibilities depending on the watermark.
1. S.G.519 (Scott#296) if a Tudor Crown watermark...issued 1952
2. S.G.544 (Scott#321) if a St.Edwards Crown watermark... issued 1955

in either case you have a Type One stamp which can be seen by the top line of the diadem cross only going half way across.

Both stamps would have a value of around £0.20
