Technically, it's probably an 1875 UX5 Postal Card (unwatermarked) but used in 1876 (based on the date inscribed on the reverse side of the postal card.) If so, the catalog value is 45-cents (used).

There is a similar design (UX4) with a "U S P O D" watermark that commands a much higher value, but that example is quite scarce.

This is likely the addressee, Mattie L. Brainard. Given she was born in 1858, it would make her 18 years of age at the time the postal card was sent:
