Poland Saint Anne Stamp, print over paper?

#2067 BJZ 60 Gr multicolored

As I was sorting out a large conglomeration of foreign stamps into their respective countries, I came across this Polish stamp and thought: "wow, what a nice error; a printed over a piece of paper error stamp!"

However, upon researching this tiny piece of art, printed in Poland , 1971, it was soon discovered that this is a Frisco of St. Anne on a wall in Faras Cathedral, Nubia. The blank area on the left side of St. Anne's face is an erosion of the painted plaster! So, no error worth a zillion bucks!

And back into to the Lot of 35 Poland stamps for the upcoming Foreign Stamp Giveaway she goes!

Have a great day and fun stamp collecting!

This is from a set of eight stamps released on April 20 1970 commemorating Polish archaeological excavations in Nubia, Scott nos. 1800-1807. Here's the whole set

Thanks YeaPolska!

These, like nearly all Polska Stamps, are simply beautiful!
