Good work, Phil.

For those of you who do not know, Phil and I have been good friends for 5+ years. I consider Phil a mentor for stamp collecting, for me. He got me interested in collecting Costa Rica, by sitting down and showing me his wonderful Guatemala collection. Then , he showed me all his Guatemala covers... that got me into covers!

Phil in action at the cover tables at the Mega-Stamp Event in NYC, and at the OXFAM booth at ORAPEX is a sight to behold. He finds all the good stuff, nicely priced.

I'm sure you did well at the cover show.

David

Very nice ones Phil, sounds like you were scurrying at the show. Always to much to hunt for and not enough time.

David, I also thank Phil for peaking my interest in the Latin America countries. I was always a US classic only collector and needed a diversion. Once I started to really look over the earlier issues from them I once again fell for the old engravings. Plus it has opened up trading for the flying chicken. Oh sorry Phil, Quetzal.

All nice finds!

The Greek cardiology stamp is unusually striking.
The artistic style of the Kitty Hawk anniversary cachet is very cool.

Phil I like the art deco look of the cachet on your Kitty Hawk air mail cover. I'm trying to find a cover from the 1933 Chicago Century of Progress's Abraham Lincoln Exhibit, it has a Lincoln bust cachet(?). I saw it once on ebay.

I like em all Phil.

But being a Canuck myself I fancy the duck cover with the conversion stamp.
