Hi All,

I was on ebay browsing for some stamps.
I came across different sheets of Japanese stamps.
Like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/JAPAN-POST-...em3a986eb886

That one looks authentic, but how can I check/verify that?
Has someone some tips for me?

Greetings, Rik
PS. Also this sheet looks authentic http://www.ebay.com/itm/Japan-Anime...em4add1de2a9

They look fine ,why question a recent issue of low value ?-----if they were postal forgeries than their value would be worth your purchase price .

I agree with Floortrader. I also do not see a reason to question the authenticity of the sheets. The Anime sheet is US Scott Catalog #3398, issued on January 23, 2012. The 2014 Scott (I do not have the 2015) gives a catalog value of US $21.00 for the sheet. The other sheet appears to be a brand new issue.

Okay thanks floortrader & Climber_Steve for the answers.
If I find other sheets, where can I find if they are authentic...?

To verify that they aren't fake.
I know the website stampworld.com, but do they update often.

Greetings, Rik
PS. Sorry for my bad English... I am a Dutchman...

Please all forgive me for what I'm about to do.

And back to English now...

Rik, from one Dutchman to another, you are dealing with ebay. If you have a problem after buying these you always have a recourse. But I am with the others above, you have very little to worry about with such fairly cheap, recent issues.

Okay thanks for answering my last question, Tinus_NL and Peter4522.
Then if they aren't authentic (that possibility is very low, as you say) then I will contact ebay.

Thanks for the tips!
I don't have any questions any more.

Kind Regards,

Rik
