Hi all,

I have a collection of booklets of the world and I am trying to get an example from all the issuing countries.

Currently I have about 100 or so different countries represented but know I will not be able to afford some of those areas that issued booklets in the early years.

Checking through those I have I came across the Hungarian booklet illustrated here and found that the first pane of stamps is perforated and the second is completely imperforate.
Is this normal for this issue?

I know nothing about this area and have no reference books that would answer the question.
Does any member have any information or ideas about this.
All help gratefully received.
Cheers
Ron.

Yes, this is normal for this issue. 1963 issue, set of 8 values.
This booklet contains 20 stamps of the 40 filler value (selling price 12 ft).
Only the 20 and 40 filler value appeared as booklet (400.000 + 400.000 booklets were issued). The original price of the 20 filler booklet was 8 Ft.
Each booklet contained 10 perfed and 10 imperforate stamp (2 panes)

Hello Wadmalatz,

Many thanks for your help, that was exactly what I wanted to know.

It is way out of our usual collecting area so was new territory for me.

Now I have the information to add to the booklet collection write-up.

Appreciate that.

Regards

Ron.
