Search "Scott Canadian Stamp Album Vol II" in category "stamps" -ebay can or US. That's all there is to it. No brainer. And there are none available. Email Chris Green at Chris Stamps and ask him: chris@chrisgreen.ca

I've had this link saved for a while as a Scott Canada album is on my wishlist and what is holding me off from updating my existing album.

in my opinion, though pricier, the Lighthouse clear, double front-back mounting hingeless pages are superior to the Scott.

its like a little pocket that the front and back are protected by high quality archival plastic (PVC?), and the stamp sort of floats and is easily visible. although I do confess I don't know if the Scott you reference has the same approach.

tommy I had some Crystal Mounts in an Album I bought and the seller included with the price of the album. The problem with them which sounds like what you are describing is the stamps fall out of the mounts. Plus they have a lot of negative responses that the stamps yellow eventually in them. They are open on both sides of the mounts so you can slide the stamps in from either side.

TinMan,

The Lighthouse sleeves do not have that issue--nor use Crystal mounts. There is a link on Crystal Mounts somewhere on this board, but in short you are comparing a BMW to a Dodge--with all due respect.

I've had my collection in them for over 30 years and never had them fall out. They have a sturdy clamp-type seal at the bottom. I've also never had any yellowing, the issue there is that "plastic" is not "plastic". I believe polyvinyl is not good, nor glassine. But sturdy transparent plastic that is chemically neutral will not damage the stamp.

Lighthouse uses polystrene film, which is archival quality and inert.

Just my opinion

tommy Is the Lighthouse Album a WW or is it by Country Specific? Also does it use the Scott numbering system? The album with the crystal mounts is going to get changed to hinges for the used and mounts with black background for the mint. It will just take some time and be a process. The only thing is the crystal mounts have discolored the album page where it is glued on. I'm not sure how I'm going to get around that problem. I may have to use the black mounts on all of the stamps to cover the glue up.

Rileysan yes the first package with the Blue Harris and the Scott Vol One Album. I emailed you right away after receiving the first package telling you I received it and thanking you. That was way back the end of August. I have sent you numerous emails since then and you just ignore me. I just sent you the whole dialog with dates and everything a couple days ago. Are you sorry you sold me the Albums and do you want them back? I'll see if I can dig it up real quick.
Here is the last one I sent you on 11/29/14

Then when you acknowledged receiving my payment you stated you picked up Volume II of the Scott Album at your Stamp Club and wondered if I wanted it. I wrote you back YES! YES! YES! please and offered to pay the postage for mailing it to me. That is the last I heard from you! I never received the second Volume.
