I'd appreciate help identifying these WA postmarks. The first is a diamond numeral, but WA didn't have diamond numerals (did it?) and in any case the numbers didn't go as high as 80. South Australia did have diamond numerals, but I don't think they had this pattern. Does anyone know what it is?

This one is presumably a government department of some kind. P. O. E. G. perhaps? Does anyone know for sure?

I just checked the handbook and the 80 in Diamond was used at Perth around 1873. It is a duplex with both parts showing the 80 in a diamond. The 0 in the left half does not touch the top frame but the right does. Yours is from the left side of the duplex. That is the only diamond numeral in WA, I don't know where I got York from,

Yes, I was wondering that too!

Thanks for the information. Still rated common?

A shame the TPO is inconclusive,
Looks like a Type 9 (EKU 17th May 1898)
but the year slug doesn't match.
