Hi guys...Unitrade classifies the Scott #40 stamp having blotching markings in the word "Newfoundland" as a re-entry...Look at this stamp I have...The markings are almost identical and almost in the exact same place...see pictures below...What do you think..??...Thanks

Robert

Hi Robert
I am no expert in Newfoundland stamps but my Unitrade 2015 shows very distinct "sloppy marks" in the letters WFO for the major re-entry that do not seem to appear on your copy.

Go to http://re-entries.com/nfld_Sc25_proof_sheet.html and you will find Ralph has all 100 positions of this stamp listed as proofs. You should be able to plate your copy from the proof images there.
