Years ago I got a set of these cheap. I believe they were Bavarian Railway Stamps. I found these two full sheets of the 50 pf and 60pf. Can anyone out there tell me more about them? I am interested in finding out what they really are as well as the value. I know enough to know that Mint German wartime stuff has little value, but these are somewhat unique to me.
Thanks,
Pat

Pat,

See this thread for background.

Yours are Erler #44 and 45. The most current Erler catalog values are from 1998, and are in Deutsche Marks, so take these values as very rough estimates.

44 - light violet - about $0.20 per stamp
44a - violet - about $0.54 per stamp
44b - reddish paper - about $2 per stamp

45 - pale blue - about $0.27 per stamp
45a - grey blue - about $0.67 per stamp
45b - reddish paper - about $2 per stamp

Postmaster GS,
Is there a premium for full sheets?

Yes, though it will vary by scarcity.
