Scott #44 - Offset Printing Normal...?

Hi guys...Take a look at this Scott #44 small queen stamp.
The numeral "8" on the left is shifted to the left, the numeral on the right is centered within the design as you can see from the RED lines.

Part of the flower on the right is over top of the numeral and not on the left side as seen within the yellow circles.

Is this normal for this stamp, does anyone else have a copy to verify..Thanks

Hi Wert,
You just need to do a quick ebay search to see that this is common to all copies of this stamp. I do not think that a printing error or mishap could change the actual design of the stamp. I believe that this off-centre design element is intended to allow for the drop-shadow that appears on the right side of the 8's to be more prominent.
