Hello,
I'd like to know if Scott's Brown International albums are the same as the Blue International but printed single side only. Are the Brown albums more comprehensive? I am under the impression that the Blue Series leave a lot of "rarer" issues out of the album.
Thank you to all,
seafarer

No they are not the same.

Brown albums (Now "Vintage reproductions" available at Subway stamp shop) were a Scott product, and had a space for every stamp.
They cover up to 1940.

The Blue Internationals- specifically Part I (1840-1940)- called affectionately "Big Blue"- was originally an album intended for "Juniors", and is a "representative" album, with many expensive stamps left out.

If you do a search on these topics on this forum, you will find lots of discussion.

You might look at a posting on my blog that is a quick summary of the differences between the Browns and the Blues (as well as the Minkus Supreme Globals): http://globalstamps.blogspot.com/20...cons-of.html
