The solution of Stamp puzzle - December 2014

I got only two correct and complete answers:

Bamra1:
the 'Big Five' game animals, i.e. the ones that are regarded as the most difficult and dangerous to hunt, are leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo and lion.
Hence the hippo is the od one out.

and 22crows:
I think that the intruder is the hippopotamus.
The other animals (Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion and Rhinoceros) are known as the Big Five game animals of Africa.
I know South Africa has issued a few sets of stamps featuring the 'Big Five'.
Personally I don't understand why anyone would want to shoot these magnificent animals.

Congratulations to winners!

Next puzzle in Januar 2015.

Although the hippo in not normally concicered one of the "Big 5", it is responsible for more deaths than the other 5. In Africa it is estimated that some 2,900 people a year are killed by hippos. Almost 3 times as many as crocodiles, an estimated 1,000 people are killed by crocodiles each year.
