Completed my collection of the low value bill stamps from 1868 with the acquisition of the elusive 2˘ brown. Now just need to track down a $2 and $3, and we're complete.
James Got majority of 3rd issue and most second . Apparently some of these were done on bothwell watermarked paper. Havn't yet looked at mine to check and maybe someone can chime in with exactly what ones are or can be watermarked. Not that they aint hard enough to amass without looking for watermarks but always nice if you can find a bonus in the pot.
Thanks guys. Yes Jeff. I know the $1 came from you. A couple of others you sent may have upgraded some too, I can't remember. And, yes, I do have extras I will be checking for watermarks.
