President Obama is apparently normalizing relations with Cuba. I do not want this to be a political discussion but am wondering how this may affect things like the Paypal prohibition of handling sales from Cuban listings on ebay?

I'm sure if the embargo on Cuba is lifted, ebay and paypal will quickly follow suit.

I am still not using PayPal for purchase of any Cuban material until I can see a news release from them. I would expect them to just keep harassing users over this for awhile until it really sinks in. That whole thing with them was draconian and silly.

Some time ago I tried to list a US 2 cent washington overprinted "CUBA" and it was removed. I was told ebay would not allow it. I guess I'll be able to list it soon.

Damn Commies are gonna want their covers back, but I bought 'em fair'n'square ;)

We should have a non-competitive contest in honor of Herman Herst Jr: given the gradual thawing of relations over many years, what would have been the date of Pat's first legal post-1959 visit to Cuba, wad of buyer-bucks in hand?

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey
