Dayna...Just be careful approaching a stamp dealer, only if they are reputable..Remember, stamp and coin dealers have to make a living to...Your best bet is to go to a stamp club and ask if they or anyone else can set you straight on what you have, what it is worth and where best to sell if that is what you have planned for your stamps..Just be cautious..
Hello Dayna, and welcome. I suggest you go to the library and ask for the stamp collecting section. You can find many catalogs and reference books to get you started. The main thought being, do you have an interest in collecting, or are your interests in what its worth and selling your new found collection. Regardless of the value, someone obviously spent time assembling this collection and in that light, it was worth something to them. You can get some direction from the library and go forward from there. Good luck and again, welcome!
