Thru the history of stamp collecting ,album makers have deleted or added different material to influence how stamp collectors build their collection .
Recently I ran into this situation with a very large souvenir sheet issued by French West Africa .The easy answer on how to keep this sheet in my collection would be to purchase one of those huge glassine mint sheet folders to keep it intact . But since I am mounting all new stuff on STEINER pages ,printing out the correct page ,was surprise they decide to cut the sheet down roughtly 50%. So I cut off all the excess blank spaces so it would fit the page . Here is the results .

Would it not have fit untrimmed if turned the full 90 degrees from upright position, so that the top of the sheet was parallel to the left edge of the page? According to Minkus, the sheet should measure 185 mm x 125 mm.

oh your sheet is imperforate? oh dear. According to the 2005 Maury, the regular perf sheet cataloged Euro 22 MHN, but imperforate cataloged Euro 200. My guess is trimmed that it would not be worth as much as if left full size.

DJCMHOH ----thanks for your input ,but it is not making any sense to me ,I got to see how the 2005 Maury lists it ,I will be at the APS Library in two weeks and check it out and will scan a few different catalogs to see how the different ones list it .
