France Scott 72?

I found this stamp in my Aunt's collection. She had it labeled as a Scott 72 - 1876 trimmed. Not sure if it is a 72 or an imperf from the colonies? I don't have a catalog and tried to do some research online with no luck on a colony with this stamp. Any help is appreciated.... Thanks in advance.

I suspect she's right. Looks like SG 234 - French 1876-81 issue with N of INV under you - trimmed, whether because people did use to trim stamps or to give the impression of its being SG 31 of French Colonies (General Issues) of 1877-78.

Postmarks are a clue...this one is Givonne...also evidence of trimmed perfs on the left side.
