What's the status of the Western Hungary issues? As far as I know, Gibbons doesn't list them, and it's hard to believe they enjoyed any legitimate postal use. I rather like the home-made look of the pictorial series, which I keep at the back of my Hungarian album(s).
Speculative issues, though 7 series of 9 were valid for postage. Second set issued (>>A<< Zóna) MNH is rare, almost all of the stamps were used (mostly philatelic covers). They were accepted on sendings to foreign countries too (but mostly Austria). Speculative issue but legitimately used (exceptions : ovpt. Soproni nepszavazas dec.14 / and last set)
