BeeSee...The middle dot is very suspicious..But it is really deep in the frame..The others could be ink blobs, I have run across these when I took a 4 year lithography course in high school using new and old school printing..I would get so called blobs of ink when using a platen press like the one in the picture below... But not so much using the A.B. Dick offset press as shown below..But dick get cracked plates on the drum. Could not resist..One more press I used..Yikes, eh..? |

I have finally got through my 100+ batch of 3c small queens, and this stamp is the last of extreme interest. I see many dots including the 3 o'clock dot, especially the one in the upper right. Are these ink splatters or a possible re-entry? Lots of marks inside "Canada Postage". |

BeeSee...Can you post a close up of Canada Post for us..? Just looked through the book below and there are 41 varieties/re-entries, but nothing like the dot in the top corner. |

BeeSee, from what I can see, there are about 9 dots on the right side of your stamp, not including the large dot you have identified.
And (even though not super clear) I see something in the letter "A" of Canada and the letters "P-S-A-G" in the word Postage.
This may be a good candidate for a re-entry..Try sending it to Ralph to see what he sees..But, be patient, he is very busy at this time.

Wert, I was looking all over for this stamp this morning for this stamp, I thought I had lost it. I found it - still in my scanner Here is 1200dpi of the top. |

I've marked all the extra marks that I can see, one I wasn't sure about ( on the queen's head ) Are there more? Wert says he sees 9 dots, I count 7 in or near Canada, 30+ overall? |

Nice mark-ups guys!
Littleriverphil, the big dot on Victoria's head is part of her tiara and is on all stamps. |

All these marks indicate a re-entry left of the original? I wonder were the mark in the left side of the vignette oval came from. Is it possibly a low 9 o'clock position dot, and the 3 o'clock dot is part of the re-entry? Quote: the big dot on Victoria's head is part of her tiara and is on all stamps. Darn! Thought I had something new spotted! |
