Hi All
I cannot emphasize this too strongly, but, I have always been a fan for having a reference library.
If one is to specialize in any particular phase of the hobby, then books etc are a must.
Without appearing arrogant, my library consists of over 200 cloth-bound books, close to 1000 different journals and bulletins and over 25,000 (yes twenty five thousand) pages of clippings of articles from the major philatelic papers and magazines. These are being filed in alphabetical order as I do this message (between breaks of course

) I have some foreign catalogues as well since I like to go beyond the scope of the Scott's Standard Catalogues. I have a few of these and not too many since the costs of books, not to mention postage and handling to get them to me, is becoming astronomical.
Once everything is completed in my files, I will have a very comprehensive library - and yes, my library is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week

On top of this, I have gleaned a wealth of information from different online sources and have them in my files on the computer as well.
I sure enjoy reading all of the postings in this forum.
