The postal clerk had to take a break after that one. At what point do the stamps add enough weight that more postage is needed?

Great Cover!

I once sent a birthday card to my father with 40+ 1 cent stamps. Still have the cover around here somewhere.

If the postage rates go up enough I may be able to put more than 90 1 centers on a card to my wife some day soon.

Soviet Russia inflation-period cover from Voronovitza, Podolia (16/12/1922) to Berlin, 27/12/1922. Registered with standard "R" label with black borders and handwritten registration #. Franked correctly at 300R with four panes of 25 (entire sheet) of 3k perf Arms folded over and partly pasted on piece of old form (kopecks revalued 100X to rubles).
