Romania Stamps...same Design But Two Sizes?

Hi!

Currently I am cataloging Romania stamps. I just came across Scott #1967-1988. Some of them have two sizes. So I am curious if the Scott # is same for both sizes? I had trouble finding the answer online. I have included the example here...Scott #1988.

the left stamp is #2283 from 1971, the right stamp is #1988 from 1968

I'm pretty sure I've got some South African stamps in three different sizes. Something to do with saving paper during the war.

Hi Ringo, that's interesting to know! I have a lot of South African stamps but haven't reached to them yet. I'm still on the letter, R. Perhaps I will find 3 different sizes with the same design??
