Brian, It's a lot more than one book. Stamped envelopes are usually only covered in the specialized catalogs for each country. That is a lot of books. Pat
The Higgins & Gage catalogue runs to 19 volumes, and unfortunately, it is alphabetical in arrangement, so if you were interested in, say British Commonwealth, you would have to acquire almost all of them in order to cover the commonwealth from Aden to Zululand.
Michel has published postal stationary catalogs that cover Europe and German colonies, with separate volumes for Germany (and area), Eastern Europe and Western Europe. The latest volumes for Eastern and Western Europe seems to only cover postal stationary up to 1960, but those from 2003/2004 covers more recent issues.
This Higgins and Gage catalogs are very out-of-date.
I see that I have mis-understood the organization of the latest Michel postal stationary catalogs for Europe. They are 1) up to 1060 and 2) after 1960. So those only interested in older issues need only obtain the former.
