In order to put this discussion in perspective, everybody should have the opportunity to hear the discussions with some of the stamps that we ultimately determine are regummed. Even among the experts there is an occasional difference of opinion but I think that we do finally get it right on a regular basis.
I think we all agree that there are some pretty good vendors on
ebay, but if something appears too good to be true....it likely is too good to be true.
This is a great discussion topic and I think it is worth repeating that one should not attempt to expertise material on the basis of digital images. You really need to have this stuff in your hands to make constantly good decisions.
