This is the only scan I have access to. Can anyone make out what is written directly above "four cents"? It looks to me to be an overprint and not part of the cancel because of its exact placement. I tried putting it through Retro Reveal, but am no wiser.
I think I see S ... bilands.
It's most likely a private overprint of some sort, but I sure would like to know what it is.
