I recently bought a number of binders to house my Vintage Internationals, these are G and K, not Scott. In the past I have never had much of a problem with the generic binders. I am now working on these pages and am finding thus far out of about 20 binders, 4-5 of them have binder rings that are misaligned. The rings won't close entirely or overlap. It is darn difficult to turn pages without a lot of hassle. I have an email off to subway but meantime has this ever happened to others and if so were you able to rectify it? I really don't care to mess around with pliers!

If you don't care to mess around with the pliers there is nothing to do but return them for a refund. If we are talking about $20+ binders, I would return them. I expect perfection when paying that much for a binder. |

Yeah, these are $29.00 @. For that I expect better. Pending reply then returning.
No indictment of the seller is implied as I am sure they have hundreds in stock and cannot be expected to inspect all of them before shipping- but this is just too high a percentage and they need to know their supplier may be cutting corners. I will say I have only had something like this happen once with Scott branded albums. |

I've bought 4 of the jumbo G&Ks at different times and haven't have a problem, nor with other G&K products. Hopefully, Subway will make this right for you. |

What type personality are you? Calm & cool or get frustrated easily? Even if you have one, I'd suggest returning it for exchange or refund. The mis-aligned rings will damage pages and has frustrated the most laid-back person who collects precancels to no ends -- and me -- it drives me wild; but I'm an A+ person. Bottomline: the grief you will get is not worth the frustration you will have -- even if they offer you $$$-off to keep them. And, no matter what I have tried tool-wise, the rings never align properly. Good luck, Hal

re-aligning rings is simple... remove all the pages, then hold the opposing rings in each hand and bend towards each other, repeat as necessary... |

Email from Amos press this AM- they are offering to send replacements. I need to go through all the binders to determine how many have this issue. I'd guess it will perhaps be a half dozen or so. Very generous offer IMO. It does pay to patronize reputable suppliers. |

Glad they will replace your binders. Personally I will not align rings. yes it can be done but sooner or later you expect damage to your stock sheets. tikithindi |
