An inch or two here in Rochester, NY expected by morning. Lake Ontario seems dormant this winter. Very little snow for the season... so far.

Wife's family is spread out around Brooklyn and Queens. We'll get the full report. For an area that struggles with four inches, a couple of feet will be horrible.
I've been down there a number of times during snow 'events'. I can't help but be amused every time I see a garbage truck, with a plow bolted on the front, trying to push snow.

Will,
No stamp club meeting. This IS Serious. I thought it was just going to another example of the media panicing and blowing this out of proportion, again.

From my vantage point in the Midwest it seems like the mega death storm of the century is turning out to be a normal January snowstorm.
Don't get me wrong a day off stamping is a whole lot better than work. We had a couple days earlier this month that they shut down school because of cold temps. Got a chance to clean up some of my mess. Its still a mess but more organized.

I see a limb down in the yard. I expect Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel to be there soon to hear your tale of survival.

I "borrowed" it from Goggle images, so of course

Quite amazing to me that with all the latest meteorology technology, they got it so wrong in NYC.

I live just next to Boston: I just finished my driveway to free the car. Estimate 30+ inches here. Still have about 33' of sidewalk to finish.

Couldn't open the front door yesterday so I had to take the window out, climb out and swim through 3 feet of snow to get to my car LOL
