Hi JD!
Welcome to this terrific Community. I'm rather new to our Stamp Community, but the amount I've learned in these discussions is really significant.Since you're asking about US albums, folks have mentioned Steiner, but like you I don't want to spend time creating my printed pages.

I own the Mystic Heirloom US Album. It's available as a set of 3 binders (3-ring mechanism). Some major differences between stamp albums:

1) The quality of the paper stock -- while I don't own a Harris album, I understand that the pages are printed on very thin paper; if you're seriously collecting over many years, heavier higher quality pages will hold up better; I own some older Scott's American albums and the paper is tissue thin junk; a page full of stamps gets funky. I plan to move and consolidate my collection into a new hingeless US album. I only collect through 1930's so I think I'll need 2 new binders and I'll keep my old Scott National binder for my Revenue stamps. The Scott National pages are much better quality than the company's beginner albums.

2) Very inexpensive "beginner" albums leave out many stamp illustrations and that gives you less space for a complete collection, and fewer pages to accommodate your collection. Some folks are OK with this and insert "blank" pages to accommodate portions of collection.

3) It can be very helpful to have more stamps illustrated along with use of Scott Catalog Numbers in order to more easily locate and position your stamps.

Mystic Heirloom albums are of good quality at reasonable price and would be worth considering MysticStamp.com

I have been researching US hingeless albums for a couple months now. Found I had to ask questions and order sample pages from manufacturers because they usually offer very limited online info. If you have a good stamp dealer retail store in your area they might carry a couple albums you could check out.

Enjoy doing your research!
Cheers,
Dan Carazo
